Psuedo or real

To people that train Narc dogs, do you start of with psudo or the real narc. I ask becasue I was told psudo is higher in scent that true narc so I figured it would be better to begin training with...

Not that I know a bookload about this, but our trainer in Ga. always starts out with Psuedo. He agrees that it is higher in scent and much more useful to start out with.

> I start off using the real stuff, I have nothing against pseudo however. I have access to the real stuff so I use it. Where I am employed we find absolutely no heroin so we utilize pseudo. On occasion to keep the teams proofed we will travel to the local military base and run the dogs on real heroin with the MWD handlers to ensure they are correctly responding to it.
